Dr O’s Great Green Smoothie Recipe:
Would you like an easy way to get those vegetables and fruits into you? Green Smoothies are one way to do just that! Here is a recipe with well over ten (10) veggies, fruits, herbs and spices in a nice neat container 😉 This is also a great way to get your kids to ‘eat’ their fruits and vegetables, and get the right amount of fiber, vitamins and minerals into their diets. Easy peasy recipe too:
Makes 500 ml (2 glasses) – In a blender place
1 each of cucumber and celery stalk
½ cup each of kale, green or red cabbage, parsley, cilantro, green chard
¼ cup each of fennel, dill frons, leek
1 slice lemon, lime, and ginger
1 medium avocado, kiwi
1 cup almond milk or water
1 scoop protein powder – optional
Ice cubes -optional
Blend and … Enjoy!!
